Giving Matte Painting Another Look O_o

My talented friend Joe is featured in this next post. He made an excellent Alex Mercer cosplay from the video game, Prototype. I got this commission to do a photo shoot with him and then take the most appropriate picture to photo-edit in order to capture the spirit of his character better. It has been a long time since I have done any matte painting, but now I think its worth getting into again after working on this :)

Another big update showing up later this week depending on the status of a secret project I am working on! :o

I kind of had an intense drawgasm yesterday and made tried experimenting with a lot of current and old sketches and made some more images for your viewing pleasure and my own strange sense of curiosity + photo editing

quick painting update

I havent really posted any paintings up here, so for the 2-3 people that probably look at this blog, here is some painting stuff I have been working on and also an alllllmost complete painting which I will post the final soon :)

also, as bonus! viewers receive a smidge of process on my new pencil --> photoshop work which has only about an hour of work done nonetheless, but you can tell it will look nifty ^_^

I will post the finished cosmic dog painting within a week!(or so) hooray!
